Vehicle access to side gate is possible for event load in/out

Access for restricted mobility

Visitors will need to be aware of the steps to the main entrance and the visitor building. The fort is mainly laid to grass with some gravel areas and some steps. Wheelchair access is possible via a side gate and prior arrangement

  • Tables and chairs are available for use inside the visitor centre
  • Mobile reception is good across the site

Interior Spaces

Two large rooms available within the visitor centre building with 62 square metres or 27 square metres of event space available alternatively. There is 18m of hanging space available for relevant temporary exhibitions. There is also an well appointed kitchen but no cooker. Flexible workshop area with Belfast sinks and ample counter space for workshops is also available.
