Join Myfanwy, a medieval woman, for a guided tour on this very special day, around this castle built by the Welsh princes.

Myfanwy is a fictional female, a long standing friend and supporter to the real life character of Marred (Margaret), wife of the great Welsh rebel of the 15th century, Owain Glyndwr, whose rebellion against the king of England, Henry IV, raged for more than 10 years.

Let Myfanwy in her medieval costume tell you the tale of this most unlikely rebel while guiding you around on one of the sites he attacked and across the water from his headquarters from where he directed his campaign.

Share his successes and ultimate defeat while wandering the ruins of Criccieth Castle and discover from tour guide Siân Roberts why his fame still lingers with legacy for the modern age.
