All disabled people are welcomed into Cadw sites free of charge, and can bring a companion for free too. Please speak to staff should you require more than one companion. At Cadw we understand that not all disabled people have impairments that are visible, so please let our staff know if you’d like to take advantage of this concession.
Cadw operates a reduced day ticket admission rate for those under 18 and 65 and over, and a variety of discounted membership options for younger and older visitors. Both day ticket visitors and members may be asked for proof of age.
All visitors under 16yrs need to be accompanied by an adult.
Cadw is happy to offer a reduced rate for students to enjoy the historic monuments in our care during their studies. For day tickets and student members, please bring your photo student ID with you each time you visit. We accept most types of student ID* with the exception of those without a photo and cards that can be obtained without proof of student status.
*we do not accept Uni Days membership as proof of student status.
The Blue Light Card is the discount service for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces: Welcome to Blue Light Card
Blue Light card holders and Veterans & Armed Forces card holders receive 10% discount on individual admission when purchased on arrival. Please present your qualifying card and photo ID at our visitor centres.
These discounts are not available online.
Cadw offers a 10% discount on Junior and Adult individual admissions to Young Carers (aged 18 and under) with their ID cards.
