Beaumaris Castle welcomes fighting knights to the castle over the Bank Holiday Weekend!

Come along and train to be a knight in the Knight’s School for children. Adults can have a go at learning some basic sword fighting skills too, and learn about weapons and archery in the displays and talks.

There's also a jester’s circus skills workshop, where young and old can learn some tricks that the jesters use to entertain.

Join in with the House of the Black Star, and learn spear drills and skills in combat, and see how the soldiers would attack and defend the castle. There's storytelling, cooking displays, medieval medicine and leather work, and chatter about the way of life back in medieval Wales.

Musicians roam the castle playing medieval tunes for the townspeople to enjoy. You’re welcome to show us some of your moves if you wish!
