Mining in Ceredigion

Strata Florida is working with the Metal Mines Programme to inform and educate visitors and the community about the nearby Abbey Consols Mine. Join us for a day of talks on the history and impact of the industry on the local landscape, culminating with a guided walk up to the mine itself.

There are toilets on site and drinks and snacks are available in the Visitor Centre, along with a range of gifts, books and local produce. Some of our activities and events are outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather.
