Behind the scenes tour of Castell Coch

  • ???cadw.media.no_js???

Cadw is offering an exclusive opportunity to see the crucial conservation work being carried out at Castell Coch this autumn.

This unique opportunity, which is restricted to 8 visitors per tour, will offer the chance to have an intimate guided tour by a Cadw conservation specialist to see first hand the work being carried out to replace the stonework on the four chimney stacks.
The private tour will take visitors to parts of the castle that are normally closed off to the public to the very top of the gatehouse and keep tower which offers breathtaking views across Cardiff and the surrounding area.

Itinerary:
12.00pm – A 20-minute induction including a short film on the conservation work and health and safety
12.20pm – A 60-minute behind the scenes tour and questions and answers
1.20pm  – Tea and cake in the beautiful Castell Coch tea room
