Evidence suggests that this church is on an early site of Celtic origin; it may even have been a small monastery. It is the second smallest church in the St Asaph Diocese and the present building was first recorded in 1253. Interesting features include the ancient entrance door with its original latch, hinges and door knocker. Inside are interesting memorials, and the east window dates from 1290-1350. It has 16th century roof timbers, the remains of some wall paintings and a very precious wooden font. Over time there have been alterations, including a window made at the Ruthin Craft Centre which was put in in 1984.

Parish records will be available to view.

No booking required.
