This is a grade 2 listed clom cottage, with the original thatch roof under corrugated tin. A rare and well-preserved vernacular dwelling of simple design and a distinctive regional type, it is furnished with local vernacular furniture of the period.

For Open Doors, tea and cake will be available, and the book The Welsh Stick Chair and possibly some items of furniture and other stock may also be available for purchase. 

Henllan Amgoed is famous for its early links to the independent chapel movement.

Directions - Henllan Amgoed is approximately 2 miles north of Whitland where there is a mainline station. It is located on the road towards Llanboidy and half a mile north of Cwmfelin Boeth.
2 Clun is on the corner of the crossroads. The old school is opposite on the Llanfallteg Road and the old smithy is now a modern house on the opposite corner on the Llanboidy Road.
