Llanddowror Church is a grade 2 listed building, historically associated with Griffith Jones, who was responsible for establishing the Circulating Schools in the 18th century. The circulating schools eventually enabled half the population of Wales to become literate. Griffith Jones is recognised for this as one of the most significant figures in Welsh history.
