This Open Doors event refers to two separate locations - St David's Church, Llandewi and St Nicholas Church, Nicholaston. Each location has its own entry on Cadw's Open Doors pages, so please also refer to the entry for St David's Church, Llandewi, for its map location etc.

Nicholaston is not a church that is regularly open, but has a beautiful interior with much history to be discovered.

Llandewi is a church that can be so often missed on the road to Rhossili, as it's hidden away and directly located by a working farm. It's a peaceful a tranquil place with lots of history to be discovered.

The churches are located in different parts of the Gower which will allow those visiting to see a much wider area of what this beautiful location has to offer.

The Wonder of Wellbeing is a new initiative based in the Gower Peninsula. (Visit their website to learn more). As part of this specific project, there will be a mindful creative drop-in session where participants can join a creative workshop. Attendees will have the opportunity to make paper lanterns or tea light holders depicting their favourite landmarks around Gower or the church they have visited. As well as this, a guide sheet will be provided to help participants reflect on these buildings and appreciate their rich history.
