Medieval wild food walk and foraging workshop
Join professional forager, Jade Mellor, on a walk around Cilgerran Castle and down through the woods to the gorge. We’ll identify and gather a selection of wild and cultivated herbs that would have been traditionally used as medicine during medieval times.
Then we’ll take our foraged finds back to the castle grounds, where we’ll make herb tea and a wild herbal vinegar to take home.
Suitable for all ages (children to be accompanied by adults).
