Clydach Heritage Centre is a heritage and information centre based in Coedgwilym Park, Clydach, Swansea.

Come and join a heritage walk through the village of Clydach - visiting the Mond Hall, the towpath of the Swansea Canal, the salmon pass on the Lower Clydach River at the weir/falls, and St Mary's Church (to view the stained glass windows and, in particular, a war memorial window which is one of only four known in the country and was dedicated one hundred years ago). Return along the High Street to note the long gone shops, and visit a local woodland haven, before returning to the Centre for a possible viewing of a short film about the lost shops of the High Street.

Location - Clydach Heritage Centre, Coedgwilym Park, Clydach, Swansea, SA6 5NS.

Directions - limited Sunday bus services in the Swansea Valley (use Traveline Cymru for details - nearest bus stop Capel Road or Pontardawe Road). National Cycle Network route 43 passes alongside the Centre on the Swansea Canal towpath.

The Heritage Centre is accessible from the car park off Pontardawe Road.

The walk entails some rough going and steep ramps up and down from a bridge crossing the Swansea Canal. Wheelchair access is available to St Mary's Church but involves a detour to avoid two flights of steps.
