The grade11* Church stands in the village of Glynogwr, a settlement extends alomg the line of an ancient track(NOw the A4093) following the ridge overlooking to the south the uypper Ogmore valley (Grid Ref 295650 187220) it's dedication to St Tyfodwg, or Dyfodwg, an early welsh saint of whom little is known other than the date of his feast day on 25th June
