Aberglasney is one of Wales's finest gardens and, at its heart, lies a fully restored Elizabethan Cloister Garden that is the only surviving example of its kind in the UK today. Beyond this, visitors can explore ten acres of over twenty different garden styles - from formal to woodland, right through to exotic and modern.

The ground floor of Aberglasney's grade II listed mansion is fully restored and open daily, but the unrestored upper levels that are full of history and mystery are usually closed to the public.

Join our expert guides on a series of tours of these upstairs rooms, for a unique insight into the history of what was once one of Carmarthenshire's largest residential houses.

Please note that normal admission prices apply for entry to the site. However, the guided tours of the upper floors of the mansion are FREE. It is the upper floors of the mansion, which are not restored, or open to the public, that visitors are given the opportunity to see during Open Doors events

Tours will start at 2pm every Tuesday and Friday throughout September and are limited to 12 people.
