Open Doors - Market Arcade Newport
Market Arcade in Newport is currently being renovated after many years of neglect. Situated between Newport's High Street and Market Street, it is the second oldest arcade in Wales.
Access is available on weekdays. However, these tours will take a behind-the-scenes peek in this Grade II structure. This guided tour will discuss the history and current renovations at Market Arcade.
The tour will begin with a look around the architecture of the High Street area and then enter the Market Arcade. Inside the arcade there will be a guided tour regarding the history of the structure and an up-to-date account of the restoration project.
