Mysterious Maud has uncovered a fantastical truth — a truth so terrifying it has driven her mad — mad I tell you!

Is this new knowledge the doorway to a dream or a nightmare? To find out come and wander with Maud and her extraordinary household up twisted staircases and down dark corridors through the glorious interior of Castell Coch, as the dark nights draw in...

Award winning theatre maker Caroline Sabin (A Curious Zoo, Blood on the Snow) is working her magic again this autumn. Known for making work that is visually delicious, warm hearted, funny and dark she also sneaks in some fascinating science that might lead you to question the very nature of your existence.

With a cast of some of the most skilled actors, musicians and dancers currently working in the UK and beyond, and including a unique filmed appearance by renowned neuro-scientist Anil Seth, expect to be intrigued, unnerved and most thoroughly entertained.

A live BSL translation by Julie Doyle will be available on the 2 November 2021.

There is a wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor from which to view a live filming of the show in real time for all who don’t wish to navigate the narrow spiral staircases and steps.
