If you are looking for a fun, interactive and educational day out, then look no further!

The brand-new Museum of Land Speed tells the iconic story of Pendine Sands and the renowned sporting records set here, in an interactive and experiential way. Permanent exhibitions illustrate the history of motor sports on the sands through audiovisual displays and objects from the people who raced here. Objects loaned from Amgueddfa Cymru and the National Motor Museum, such as the tail of Sir Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird, add a taste of glamour to the stories.

Other permanent exhibitions look at the science of speed and hidden history of weapons testing at Pendine. Interactive exhibits encourage you to experiment in designing for speed, while audiovisual displays offer an insight into the Ministry of Defence presence in the dunes, which began during the Second World War.

Changing temporary exhibitions take the Pendine story in alternative directions: from the achievements of Amy Johnson to the ideas for sustainable car designs of the future.

And don't miss the fabulous Babs video experience, that allows you to feel the forces as if you were driving the legendary race car along the sands!
