A recently refurbished building which is now an activity centre for older people. Located next to the Bishop's Castle and in the old medieval animal pound, a recent archaeological dig discovered a medieval hall house beneath the building.
The Pound will be open to view, to learn about converting old buildings into ecofriendly community hubs. Also, the Llandaff Society Photographic Archive will be available to see.

By car - turn right off Llandaff High Street, into the public car park. Ticket required. By bus - alight at the Black Lion, walk up the High Street as far as the Bishop's Castle. The Pound is next to it, at the top of Cathedral Close. By train - alight at Fairwater station, walk along Fairwater Road, right at Cardiff Road, left into High Street.
