The church was built in the early 20th century as St. Samson’s, to serve the upper end of Grangetown in Cardiff. In 1969, the dedication was changed in include St. Dyfrig, the name of a recently demolished church nearby. St. Samson's inherited many of the decorative features from St. Dyfrig’s.
The church will be open all day for people to visit, and refreshments will be served. At certain times there will be talks on the history of the churches/area and activities for children.
N.B. There will also be a Songs of Praise service on the Sunday evening at 6pm.
No booking required.

The church is accessed via Pentre Gardens, off Clare Road in Grangetown. It is a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central Station.
