A church was first built here in the 6th century by Prince Maelgwn Gwynedd of Deganwy Castle, who is supposedly buried under the south door.

The plaques on the walls show the history of some local families, the Wynnes, Mostyns, Prendergasts and Pughs, who are interred in the vaults - a veritable feast for historians.

The churchyard is surrounded by wildlife, and has over sixty burials and memorials to those who fell in WW1 and WW2.

For Open Doors, there will be :
copies of registers available for inspection for visitors to find their relatives and trace their own family trees.

Address - St Hilary’s Church, Conwy Road, Llanrhos, Llandudno, LL30 1RW.

Llanrhos is situated on the road from Deganwy to Llandudno and close to the Llandudno link road from the Black Cat roundabout A55 junction 19.
